The Red Nose Safe Sleeping eLearning course for Early Childhood Educators is designed to help early childhood education and care services:
- understand Red Nose’s recommendations for sleeping baby safely to reduce the risk of sudden unexpected death in infancy (SUDI), and other infant care practices
- meet the standard under the National Quality Framework that guides the development and implementation of a Sleep and Rest Policy.
The course is relevant to: early childhood educators, nannies, family daycare providers and other professionals caring for infants.
The Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA), the national body that oversees the implementation of the National Quality Framework for early education and care throughout Australia, considers Red Nose as a national authority and a reputable source of information on safe sleeping practices for infants and children.
